Transportation Research Center Inc.’s Impact Laboratory Operations performed a frontal impact test on a school bus at 30 mph for an NBC investigation about why most school buses have no seat belts. On a Thursday morning, September 10, 2015, NBC’s film crew and national investigate correspondent Jeff Rossen visited Transportation Research Center (The Center) to lead the coverage. The school bus housed child dummies, which were not instrumented or wearing seat belts.

TRC Inc. Featured in Car and Driver Magazine

Transportation Research Center Inc. was featured in the February 2015 edition of Car and Driver magazinein an article titled, “Proving 200.” The article refers to Erich Heuschele, the SRT vehicle dynamics engineering manager who brought a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to Transportation Research Center (the Center) and reached speeds of 204 mph in a two-way average on the Center’s 7.5-Mile Test Track.
