Transportation Research Center Inc.’s Impact Laboratory Operations performed a frontal impact test on a school bus at 30 mph for an NBC investigation about why most school buses have no seat belts. On a Thursday morning, September 10, 2015, NBC’s film crew and national investigate correspondent Jeff Rossen visited Transportation Research Center (The Center) to lead the coverage. The school bus housed child dummies, which were not instrumented or wearing seat belts.
