Our staff is available to conduct tests or assist customer-run tests in a timely and accurate manner. Each project is well-planned and organized according to its unique test requirements. Service include test plan development, test conduct, data analysis and systems modification recommendations.
Facilities
The 9,000-foot long Skid Pad and 50-acre Vehicle Dynamics Area contain test lanes with varying friction levels. Jennite Surface and Basalt and Ceramic Tile Courses are also available to provide extremely low friction. Wet or dry and split-coefficient tests can also be performed to evaluate ABS and automatic traction control systems.
TRC Inc. monitors skid numbers and peak braking coefficient data on our test facilities every two weeks. This information provides facility users with information for development and testing of tires and brake systems.
