Automotive development and testing of Engine Control Units.
The responsibilities include writing hardware and software specifications, performing confirmation testing on the actual car and simulator, troubleshooting and fixing related problems, writing and presenting reports, working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues. Other responsibilities also include researching new technologies and market trends and making proposals for future products.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong knowledge of electrical hardware and software development required. Interest in the automotive field and experience in the use of electronic measuring equipment and electrical troubleshooting experience desired. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
