Essential Functions*

  • Create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships that will lead to increased revenue and opportunities
  • Serve as a consultant to customers by collaborating to understand their investments, industry driven needs, and strategic direction, offering solutions that leverage TRC’s strengths
  • Understands the customer’s goals, strategies, and processes and create customized strategies to support their needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends and competitor information to help develop key strategic initiatives, growth areas and performance metrics
  • Promote TRC Inc.’s full range of facilities and services
  • Communicate cross-business to liaise between customers and business units across TRC
  • Create short and long-range plans for customer development
  • Initiate and maintain key strategic relationships and partnerships
  • Build competence across all TRC in order to translate TRC capabilities, and form response teams composed of the appropriate business development functions
  • Implement overarching economic and business development strategy from the TRC Strategic Plan
  • Coordinate customer feedback
  • Review and provide input into proposals
  • Project a positive and professional image of TRC in business and social interactions
  • Respond to proposal solicitations
  • Lead in planning, organizing, and assisting in development proposals

  • Assist in the development of marketing materials
  • Support TRC Inc.’s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (majoring in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations) or equivalent years of experience
  • Deep technical understanding and expertise in mobility based fields and applications
  • Three years of relevant experienced preferred
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Confident and industrious
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license
  • Ability to embrace change
  • Ability to make independent and competent decisions


Working conditions

  • Standard office, climate controlled environment
  • Some travel is required


Physical requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers
