During the past few months, Transportation Research Center (TRC Inc.) team members have spent an ample amount of time on the road and in the air, participating in various industry events.
As an organization, TRC Inc. stays up to speed on new standards, procedures, and technologies within the automotive industry, ensuring a knowledgeable and involved team of executives, engineers, and project managers. Since its groundbreaking, TRC Inc. has been represented within various industry committees and steer industry groups.

• Transportation Research Board 95th Annual Meeting – January 10 – 14, 2016, Washington, D.C.
The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting consists of an information-packed program will cover all transportation modes and is expected to attract more than 12,000 professionals from around the world.
The meeting program will have more than 5,000 presentations and nearly 800 sessions and workshops, which will address topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry and academic institutions. Many will focus on the spotlight theme for 2016: Research Convergence for a Multimodal Future. More than 75 will address one or more of three “hot topics:” Transformation Technologies, Resilience, and Transportation and Public Health.
• SAE 2016 Government/Industry Meeting – January 20 – 22, 2016, Washington, D.C.
The SAE 2016 Government/Industry Meeting will feature the Power of Safe Sustainable Mobility, focusing on understanding how technology, regulations and legislation affect the design and heavy duty vehicles in terms of safety, environment and energy conservation.
This forum provides opportunities for technical authorities from government, industry, and academia who are leading advanced automotive technology to address influencing future decision making within the industry.
• SAE 2016 Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium – February 9 – 11, 2016, Anaheim, CA
The SAE 2016 Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium will address critical information regarding technical developments in electric vehicle technologies, as well as the business decisions around technology and implementation. At this event, attendees will learn about technology applications of the manufacturers’ hybrid and electric vehicles, powertrain technologies and components, and supporting technologies.
